My Approach to Therapy:
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with adults and couples in various settings, including hospital medical centers, private practice, college counseling, community mental health, and the prison system. My focus is on helping individuals and couples navigate unhealthy beliefs and patterns to create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I completed my Ph.D. at the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology (VCPCP). During my time there, I taught psychology of sex to undergraduates, served as a project specialist on an HIV grant, and presented research at national conferences on race-related issues. I am also proud to be an alumna of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), where I earned a Master of Science in Community Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
My approach to therapy is non-judgmental, collaborative, interactive, and compassionate. I strive to ensure every client feels heard and supported in a safe environment. I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, substance use, race-based stress, and intimacy/sexual connection.
If you're ready to break through barriers and embrace change, I’m here to support you!
