My Approach to Therapy:

I work with a diverse range of individuals interested in utilizing the art process to enhance physical and psychosocial well-being. Together, we explore traditional studio and folk art techniques to uncover inner imagery, foster dialogue, and cultivate self-awareness through expressive art-making and storytelling.

With 20 years of experience in public schools, I have integrated art therapy into the reading curriculum to help students overcome reading challenges and insecurities. My background also includes working with women and children escaping domestic violence, as well as survivors of rape and incest. I am dedicated to supporting those seeking to address stress, anxiety, guilt, and shame, guiding them on their journey toward healing and empowerment.
