My Approach to Therapy:

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive... -Maya Angelou. Are you struggling with perfectionism or a harsh inner critic? Wondering how you fit into this complicated world? Merely surviving instead of thriving? As a biracial therapist, I have a unique -and personal- perspective on what it feels like to straddle two worlds, to feel misunderstood or invisible, or to question where you fit in. Using mind-body techniques and a personalized approach, I support my clients by offering a safe, nonjudgmental space to work on these and other issues. Let's work together to help you better understand yourself and begin healing.

I specialize in working with BIPOC clients (particularly those who identify as mixed-race/biracial) and LGBTQ+ clients. With the goal of self discovery and healing, I help clients with a variety of issues including increasing self-compassion, reducing anxiety, personal growth, and identity issues (racial, sexual, gender). Let's work together to move beyond merely surviving; to move beyond the anxious, stressed place and uncover the more centered, authentic - thriving - self that resides within. Life can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to stay this way. I can't wait to hear from you!
